Studio Etiquette & Safety:

  • Arrive prior to the start of class, 10 minutes is advisable.  Arriving too early may require you to wait in the main lobby. The studio doors will be locked once the class has begun.

  • Remove your shoes and leave them in the main lobby.  Your personal belongings can be stored in the cubbies outside of the studio rooms.  GTY is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Use a quiet voice once you step through the doors to the studio rooms. Our walls are not soundproof so this will help reduce disturbance to others in the space.

  • Place your cell phone on silent/airplane mode to not disturb you or your neighbor's practice.

  • Inform your instructor of any injuries you may have, or if this is your first time practicing yoga.

  • Abstain from wearing perfume or cologne in the space.  This can be disruptive as some folks are sensitive to smells.

  • Help keep our space clean and safe by putting all props away after use.

  • Weapons of any sort are not allowed in the space, or on the premises.
