Welcome to Grace Tree Yoga! I hope that you come to enjoy all that we have to offer -- from a welcoming atmosphere that brings people together, to the wonderful teachers that meet you right where you are in your journey. When I stepped through Grace Tree's door many years ago it changed my life, and I am forever grateful. Grace Tree became my sanctuary where I could connect within, and also with the beautiful community of people at the studio. It wasn't about getting in shape, it was about finding myself, gaining balance in my life, working inward. Working full-time outside the home, being a wife, and raising two teenage boys - somewhere in those responsibilities I forgot about taking care of myself. That is what yoga gave to me -- time for myself to just be, but to also begin to look inward to find the woman I am. We so often put everyone before ourselves, and then find ourselves feeling empty, wondering what our purpose is, or where we are supposed to go in this life. I watched how yoga changed me in a beautiful way - my anxiety level reduced, my autoimmune symptoms improved, I felt more at peace in my own body, and my monkey mind started to settle down. It was then that I realized I wanted to help others find the beauty that yoga could offer so I received my 200 hour certification and now I'm working towards my 300 hour certification. It was by Divine guidance that I found Grace Tree, and from that day forward my life has never been the same. My desire is to help others on their life journey through the beauty of yoga. I believe that everyone can benefit from yoga, as it is so much more than the asana (poses).
Grace Tree holds a special place in my heart, and I look forward to helping others discover it for themselves. Whether you are looking to start your yoga journey, rekindle your yoga practice, or continue on your journey -- I welcome you home at Grace Tree!
